The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds proudly presents George Jones in concert Saturday, February 27, 2010. There is no doubt that George Jones helped set the standard for modern country music. His music has had a major impact as one of the architects of the country music sound. By age 24, Jones had been married twice, served in the Marines and was a veteran of the Texas honky-tonk circuit.
