Local Festivals in Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Ellijay

Greater Tuna / Hilarious ComedySeptember 3 - 5
2591 East 1st Street across from The Swan Drive-In. This is a hilarious comedy about Texas third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna; men, women, children and animals. It's a loving portrait of rural America - big hearts, small minds, and all! Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30, with Sunday at 2:00. Cost is $15.00 general admission. Saturday Sept. 5th will be two shows, a matinee at 2:00 p.m. and the evening show at 7:30. Beer and wine available at all shows with the exception of the Sunday matinee.

Hits include: "Kiss Me in the Car", "Your Love Amazes Me", "Standing on the Edge of Goodbye". Followed by the new movie "My Sister's Keeper" Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Concert is at 7:00 and the movie begins at 8:30. Adults $10.00, Kids 4-12 are $5.00, Kids under 4 are free. Live music jams and pickin' on the banks of the Toccoa River at the Horseshoe Bend Park in McCaysville. Free Admission. And the park is wheelchair accessible.
