Hwy 5 north toward McCaysville, turn left on Kingston (just past Sonic) after you turn it will be on your right.Your favorite musicians you have been enjoying at Horseshoe Bend Park on Thursday nights for Pickn' In the Park, have moved inside for the winter months. It is on a new night though you will find them there on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. There is a $3.00 cover charge to cover the costs of utilities and heat but just until spring when they move back to the park. You can also take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad on selected evenings from downtown Blue Ridge to visit the Christmas village.
Light up Blue Ridge

Located in Downtown Blue Ridge. Old-fashioned holiday celebration sponsored by the Blue Ridge Business Association in downtown Blue Ridge. Come and see street carolers, music and special events all day. Mr. and Mrs. Santa arrive on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Visit with Santa and have photos taken in the gazebo in downtown Blue Ridge City Park. Live reindeer, childrens trackless train rides and much more. The lighting of the "Great Tree" takes place at dusk. Downtown shops will be open late so bring the whole family for a holiday of fun, perfect to start the season off right.
