Winter Pickn'
Nov 3, 10, 17, & 24
Located at Ann's Pickin Parlor 50 Kingstown Street. Hwy 5 north toward McCaysville, turn left on Kingston (just past Sonic) after you turn it will be on your right.Your favorite musicians you have been enjoying at Horseshoe Bend Park on Thursday nights for Pickn' In the Park, have moved inside for the winter months. It is on a new night though you will find them there on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. There is a $3.00 cover charge to cover the costs of utilities and heat but just until spring when they move back to the park. No need to bring chairs and there is also a dance floor so come dance or sit and enjoy all the great Bluegrass music. No smoking and no alcohol. Contact Ann 706-455-7771

Live Theater / A Christmas Carol

Artist Studio Tour

Located at the Martyn House 912 Flat Branch Road, Ellijay Georgia. Ellijay is approx. 15 miles west of Blue Ridge. They open the doors several times throughout the year to host, sustainable dinner parties, healing retreats, artist appreciation weekends and Artist Studio Tours. FREE self-guided studio tour and social event. Hours for tour are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Artists demonstrations, live music all weekend, original art available for purchase. Rivers Alive

Located at the Gazebo, Fire Station 13 on Aska Road / Ron Henry Horseshoe Bend Park in McCaysville.Clean water from the mountains to the sea. This is a time to clean up our Georgia Rivers. Veterans Day Parade / Blue Ridge

Holiday Art Show Opening Reception

Holiday Art Show and Sale

Located at the Old Courthouse, West First StThe Blue Ridge Mountain Holiday Art Show and Sale is being held in the old County Courthouse. Open weekdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The show will include a number of different art items for sale. Hand turned wooden carvings, hand-crafted items, jewelry, holiday ornaments and homemade soaps are only a few of the things that will be available. Bring your Christmas shopping list. Christmas Village

Located Between the bridges on the riverfront in McCaysville. 5 minutes north of Blue Ridge on Hwy 5 (McDonalds intersection). Walk through the village from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm enjoy local entertainment and visit Santa Claus. You can also take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad on selected evenings from downtown Blue Ridge to visit the Christmas village.

Light up Blue Ridge
Nov 27-28
Located in Downtown Blue Ridge. Old-fashioned holiday celebration sponsored by the Blue Ridge Business Association in downtown Blue Ridge. Come and see street carolers, music and special events all day. Mr. and Mrs. Santa arrive on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Visit with Santa and have photos taken in the gazebo in downtown Blue Ridge City Park. Live reindeer, childrens trackless train rides and much more. The lighting of the "Great Tree" takes place at dusk. Downtown shops will be open late so bring the whole family for a holiday of fun, perfect to start the season off right. Located at the Downtown Historic District of Blue Ridge. Come and treat your friends to an Old-fashioned Christmas. Sing Christmas carols and visit with Santa and his elves.
