First Friday at Yonah Mountain Vineyards Tasting Room, Friday, September 4 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Yonah Mountain Vineyards is located in the foothills of Appalachian Mountains in between Helen and Cleveland, Georgia. Yonah Mountain Vineyards, is hosting a special Labor Day Weekend tasting. Friday night the tasting room will be open late pouring and selling wine until 9:00. Join local musicians for an open jam and enjoy appetizers, while browsing shops, like InsideOut Sautee and Elf Made Toys. The tasting room is located at 2454-B Highway 17. Crane Creek Vineyards sits high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, just three miles north of the quaint college town of Young Harris in the shadow of Brasstown Bald, the state's highest peak. This month Crane Creek Vineyards, is proud to host the Wine for Women, a monthly women's wine group that meets the first Wednesday of each month. During this meeting, participants will be going outside and getting their hands dirty! There will be a harvesting demonstration and opportunity for everyone to harvest some of the 2009 grapes that will be the wines of our future. Three Sisters Vineyards, The Best of The Best - Meritage & Dahlonega Gold Tastings 12:00-5PM Come and celebrate the "Best of The Best" the weekend before Thanksgiving. The 6th Annual Meritage Tasting now features several special wines. This event takes place Saturday & Sunday - November 22nd and 23rd. They only offer a limited taste of their Meritage once a year and this is the weekend to check out the wine that celebrates the "art and magic of winemaking." The Meritage is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Franc & Merlot. It represents the best! The "Meritage Tasting" will also feature "Dahlonega Gold" their special "ice wine" made from frozen Vidal grapes-just voted the best of Georgia by 2008 Ritz Carlton-Georgia Trend Tasting. This special tasting includes a keepsake wine glass and a taste of some of our "Vintner's Tasting" selections. The cost is $15.00 per person. Additionally, they will offer complimentary (FREE) tastes of some their Chestatee and Walasiyi wines.
